Day 1: Kathgodam – Kainchi Dham – Jageshwar (150 km | 5-6 hrs)

Your Journey:
Begin your trip with a picturesque drive from Kathgodam. On the way, visit Kainchi Dham, the serene ashram of Neem Karoli Baba, set amidst tranquil mountain surroundings. After a soulful stop, continue to Jageshwar, a sacred temple town embraced by deodar forests. Explore the ancient 8th-century Jageshwar temple complex, dedicated to Lord Shiva, known for its spiritual ambience and architectural beauty.

Day 2: Jageshwar – Patal Bhuvaneshwar – Dharchula (190 km | 7-8 hrs)

Your Journey:
After breakfast, drive to Patal Bhuvaneshwar, a captivating underground cave temple shrouded in mythology and adorned with intricate natural rock formations. Explore this sacred site and immerse yourself in its spiritual aura. Day 3: Dharchula – Gunji (70 km | 4-5 hrs)

Get ready for an adventurous drive through the rugged Himalayan terrain. The route winds along the Kali River, passing through Tawaghat and Malpa, with dramatic gorges, cascading waterfalls, and untouched landscapes along the way. Arrive in Gunji, a remote village nestled deep in the mountains, known for its strategic importance on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra route. The serene environment and traditional lifestyle offer an authentic experience of life in the high Himalayas.

Day 4: Gunji – Om Parvat & Adi Kailash – Gunji (100 km round trip | 6-7 hrs)

Your Journey:
This is the most awaited and spiritually uplifting day of your journey! Begin early with a drive to Nabidang for a rare glimpse of the sacred Om Parvat, where snow patterns miraculously form the divine symbol ‘ॐ’. The sight is truly awe-inspiring and believed to radiate immense spiritual energy.

Continue onward to Jolingkong, where the magnificent Adi Kailash—a revered peak resembling Mount Kailash in Tibet—rises in all its glory. Spend time at the tranquil Jolingkong Lake, nestled at the base of the mountain, reflecting its majestic presence in crystal-clear waters. After soaking in the serene and divine surroundings, return to Gunji.

Day 5: Gunji – Dharchula – Munsiyari (190 km | 8-9 hrs)

Your Journey:
Bid farewell to the high Himalayan terrain of Gunji as you begin your descent. Drive back to Dharchula, then follow the scenic route along the Gori Ganga River, passing through Jauljibi, where the Gori and Kali rivers meet.

Arrive at Munsiyari, a serene hill station renowned for its breathtaking views of the Panchachuli Peaks. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, alpine meadows, and pine forests, Munsiyari offers the perfect setting to unwind and reflect on your journey.

Day 6: Munsiyari – Birthi Falls – Patal Bhuvaneshwar / Chaukori (180 km | 7-8 hrs)

Your Journey:
Start your day with a visit to the magnificent Birthi Waterfall, plunging from a height of 126 meters amidst a lush forest backdrop — a perfect spot for photography and a breath of fresh mountain air.

Continue your scenic drive through the winding roads of the Kumaon hills toward Patal Bhuvaneshwar, an awe-inspiring underground cave temple shrouded in legends and rich mythology. Explore its intricate limestone formations said to depict various Hindu deities and cosmic events.

If time allows, pause at Chaukori, a tranquil hill station offering panoramic Himalayan views and picturesque tea gardens. It's an ideal spot to catch a serene sunset before moving on.
